It's
no small coincidence that David Rosaire and His Perky Pekes (as well as his Great Dane,
Baboon and show-stealing mutt) are considered by many as the world's greatest dog act.

Born in England, David Rosaire,
joined the family business when he was two years old. His parents were principal acts of
the Circus Rosaire, one of England's largest in its day. His father, an animal trainer,
riveted European audiences with his deft lion training and his mother, also an animal
trainer, was a featured aerialist and bareback rider. A devout animal lover, David
Rosaire's training methods have been passed down for five generations. Based on large
doses of love and patience, training begins when his Pekes are babies.

David Rosaire and His Perky Pekes
have performed all over the world in venues such as the London Palladium, Caesar's Palace,
New York's Lincoln Center, and Cirque D'Hiver in Paris. Among his notable appearances was
a Command Performance in the late 1970s for the King and Queen of Sweden.
